Hair gel and it effects on brain cells?

I've been using hair gel and just recently switched to using hair glue but I was told from a friend that hair gel can damage brain cells or kill brain cells? I just wanted to know if this is true or not.

I do know however that hair dye does kill brain cells, so I was wondering if hair gel/hair glue does the same thing. But hair gel/hair glue can be washed out when hair dye is permenant until you hair grows out.

I think whoever told you that you can lose brain cells from hair gel is probably losing brain cells at this very moment. There is no proof what so ever that this could possibly happen.

Hair gel/hair glue does not kill brain cells it just makes your scalp sticky and causes bad dandriff...however hair dye does kill brain cells.

No. The only thing hair gel can do to you is fry the hell out of your hair if you use it all the time and do not wash your hair regularly. That is the worse I have seen.
