my hair gel seems to never fully come out. i have frizzy hair, so i have to put a bit of hair spray on my scap like every day, or if its just really frizzy, which is generally everyday. anyways, i noticed lately when i wash it i have alot of little white dots all over. its not like insane, or all crazy in my scalp, like dandruff, but its like i wash it out good in my scalp, but it still stays in my hair, and even if i wash and rewash (wasting my shampoo btw) it never all fully comes out! i dont wanna keep rewashing w/e. i bought a dandruff head and shoulders shampoo, used it like for 3 or 4 washes already, but not all that much improvement wit hthe white things in hair. i only rly notice them when my hairs wet, but when dry, u dont rly see it. could this like damage my hair/cause it to fall out, or be bad in for my hair in anyway? what should i do?
Hair gel never fully washes out?
its probably just the gel flaking off, try a formula that is more of a cream base, i use aussie with flexable hold, garnier fructis has a good product too

Rewashing your hair is bad enough! It's crazy but studies show that washing your hair more than once a day is really unhealthy and can cause even more damage then if you didn't wash your hair. Use a perfect amount of shampoo, and make sure you get it all in your hair. The trick is getting all of that shampoo out. Most people believe that the shampoo is completely gone after 1 minute under the water, but you have to really massage your hair, and you can feel the difference. When there's still shampoo, your hair will feel liquidy, and bubbles will still be coming out. When there's no more, you can sense a little bit of dryness in your hair. Kind of hard to explain. But just try to stay under the water and keep rinsing your hair for about 5 minutes. Condition your hair, and do the same thing. The gel will probably be gone.

Hair gel never fully washes out?
i would suggest using something different than hair gel because it damages your hair..i noticed that after using it a few days in a row. try using mousse or some frizz--ease to control it- as far as shampoo, use some really moisturizing products like pantene- a little expensive but it also makes your hair smell wonderful!
Hair gel never fully washes out?
First of all you need to buy a daily clarifying shampoo,(Suave is a good inexpensive brand).wash you hair with it and follow that washing with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.Ease up on the hair gel,.a bit.

Okay, first of all, this is not dandruff, so head and shoulders will do you no good. (It doesn't do good even if you have dandruff for that matter!) Stop using that, because you're having a buildup problem and head %26amp; shoulders, pantene, garnier, etc etc, all those shampoos also cause buildup problems. When you have buildup, it can cause damage to your hair, and over time can cause a film that will make your hair feel very gross, cause your hair not to respond to curling irons, hair dryers, etc, and not be able to be cleaned properly because the shampoo and conditioner can't penetrate through the buildup.
What you need is a good clarifying shampoo. Of course, I would suggest going to the salon and get a clarifying treatment to remove the buildup you already have. Then, after you have a clean slate, you can get a less expensive clarifying shampoo for at home. I like Tresemme Deep Cleansing Shampoo http://www.tresemme.com/classic-care/pro... Use this shampoo once a week.
Now, if you use good products, you're not going to get that film. Invest in some good quality products from the salon, get the clarifying shampooo, make sure you are rinsing all shampoo and products out of your hair thoroughly, and I am sure your problem will go away soon!
Good Luck!
