I need gel tht doesn't cause dandruff. I also want the gel to last THE ENTIRE DAY!!! I lastly want the gel to make my hair NOT hard, as if it was like it was wet. If u can help thxs. :)

It is mostly likely your gel flaking off, not dandruff. Dandruff is an itchy scalp and is caused by a fungus, yeast, or an allergic reaction to a product.

So, if you really do have dandruff, get a medicated shampoo and try a different name brand of gel. If it's just the gel flaking off, you can try another name brand, or I suggest waxes or pomades. Aveda makes some nice ones, but they are a bit pricey.

LA BELLA hairgel iss awsome and they usually sell in big packs i never get dandruffs and it lasts the whole day for me and if u don wash ur hair for more than 2 days itll still prolly stay!

There is a brand sold at WalMart called Lekair Styling Gel; it is a pink gel. I think it works good! Also if you are looking for more shine, go to Sally Beauty Supply and ask the associate to direct you to some. I can't recall brand names but I know Sally has some good ones!!!!

definately use the wax style of gel. It holds and can restyle throughout the day. no dandruff. at all. it doesnt harden up and get totally stiff but it holds the style completely. you should really test it out.
