What's the difference between hair GUM and hair GEL ?

what's the difference between them two

AND

are there hair gums or gels that are 'for girls only' just like some perfumes

cos i have a 'tony and guy' gum ...duno if it's for a girl or a guy like me?

A gel is more to keep your hair in place, to hold a shape that you want it to hold. And with gum you can play around with it, and shape it how you want to. And the gum you have now, smell it and see if it's more a girl or a guy smell.

Id say these things are unisex, however there are some with some 'glittery-sparkling-stuff' I dont know if u want to wear that..

well gel is gel. its light and jelly-watery or whatever u call it. it styles ur hair and gives a bit of shine, nearly 90% (form the ones I used;) flake off and are too 'hard' or dont work at all.

gum is like hair wax exc its more sticky and gives ur hair that 'wet look'. it can be good or bad. I mean the worst of the worst. so dont use too much of that.

Im more into using hair wax because it gives ur hair the hold u need + looks natural and doesnt flake off or anything.
