Does herbal essences hair scrunching gel work?

does herbal essences "totally twisted" hair scrunching gel work?

this is it:

http://herbalessences.com/us/collections...

thanks!

Does herbal essences hair scrunching gel work?

ya... i use it al the time, when i need to curl my hair..

1st u blow dry ur wet hair then u scrunch the producti into hair.. it worx every time.. actuall y it in my hair right now..

Does herbal essences hair scrunching gel work?

well, it definitely makes your hair a different texture, but it didnt really make my hair curly, just a little wavy and difficult to comb through.. then again, my hair is naturally stick-straight, and you can get it i believe in 3 different level of curling. it is good if you want a messy bun or something, but not really for nice curls.

Does herbal essences hair scrunching gel work?

Well i have heard it doesnt work good and i personally think mousse is better cuz gel makes your hair really sticky and greasyand it weighs your hair down. I suggest the catch the wave line from aussie. Scrunch your hair with the scrunching spray and mousse you can also get the catch the wave shampoo+conditioner. use the scrunching spray and mousse after getting out of the shower. I have pin straight hair but aussie makes my hair get cute beachy waves! Visit www.aussie.com for more information Good Luck! xoxo

Veet Rasera Vs. Veet Hair Removal Gel Cream For Dry Skin? Which is Better?

I have been wanting to try Veet for sometime because electric razors, while they work the hair grows back too fast for me and I nick myself with a regular in-the-shower razor. Which are the differences between the rasera bladeless kit and the hair removal gel cream? Also which is better? I have thin body hair that's blonde.

Veet Rasera Vs. Veet Hair Removal Gel Cream For Dry Skin? Which is Better?

Love the Veet Gel Cream. Works so fast and my legs are so smooth! I do not use the little Veet shaver, I use a shower puff. So fast.

Veet Rasera Vs. Veet Hair Removal Gel Cream For Dry Skin? Which is Better?

dont use veet at all! my mom tried veet and it gave her little holes in her legs! this is serious stuff

Veet Rasera Vs. Veet Hair Removal Gel Cream For Dry Skin? Which is Better?

I would NOT buy veet for dry skin, there have been cases were it has burned the skin, leave on no longer than 5 mins, veet for sensitive skin is better it will not dry the skin, max time is 10 mins %26amp; it works better,

Veet Rasera Vs. Veet Hair Removal Gel Cream For Dry Skin? Which is Better?

I personally prefer Veet Rasera because they have added an aloe strip to the tool so not only are you removing the hair you are also moisturizing your skin. Hope i helped!! :)

Whats the best gel i can use that wont hurt my hair?

gel shouldn't be what's hurting your hair.

The best gels I've found if you want great hold is "ShortSexyHair". It's a blue gel that runs about $12. Or, if you don't need quite so much hold, use "got 2b glued" Can find it at Walmart, etc for about $4.50.

(The cool thing is that if you want to change or re-do your hair, just get your hands wet and make the changes...very easy!)

LADiES !! is Veet Hair Removal Gel Cream Sensitive Formula good ?!?

Anyone that use Veet can you guys tell me is Veet Hair Removal Gel Cream Sensitive Formula good for underarms ? because i want to use it to remove my underarm hairs , and before i shaved it can see those black dot . i think it is the roots %26amp; it looks like it look like i didn't shave it very well .. SO PLEASE HELP ME !! Or if you guys have any good suggestion [ THAT DONT REALLY COST THAT MUCH %26amp; iT iS VERY GOOOD ! ] THANK YOUU ! [;

LADiES !! is Veet Hair Removal Gel Cream Sensitive Formula good ?!?

It's not that great. I use it on my legs and yes for the first day my legs are completely smooth but by the next day I can feel stubble. It doesn't get all of the hair completely and when you are done you can't apply any lotions, body sprays or deodorants.

Not to mention it smells like acid perfume. You are better off just shaving or waxing.

LADiES !! is Veet Hair Removal Gel Cream Sensitive Formula good ?!?

No, i don't recommend it. It seems like it would be more convenient than shaving but it isn't, it truly isnt. Here is why:

-the smell is horrible

- It is a mess, you rub it on in the shower, but then you literally have to scrub so hard to get it off. Then no matter how long you spend washing it off, once you get out of the shower it still feels like the stuff is still all over where you applied it.

-After you use it, you will rub you hands across your legs or your under arms and you will still be able to feel tiny little hairs.

And that is why i dont recommend it.

Hope I Helped!

Does hair styling gel have an expiry date?

I have this hair styling gel "Deep Shine" from RUSK but i haven't used it for like 4-5 years and still have it in the bottle. I was wondering if i should throw it away or if it is still good to use?

How to comb your hair with gel?

how are you suppose to comb your hair with gel... i been using gel for the last year or two and theres white stuff coming out after a few hours and i dont know why. when I use a comb,i get rid of most of the white foam in my hair. are you suppose to do that or not?

How to comb your hair with gel?

yes its normal keep doing what u do does it work for u

How to comb your hair with gel?

that happened to me once too. well if u comb it and it gets rid of it then it works so just keep doing what ur doing if u like the results of it :)

How to comb your hair with gel?

you should not have white stuff in your hair at all try using a little less gel

How to comb your hair with gel?

You aren't suppose to comb it. When you shampoo (do this frequently) and condition (this too) comb the conditioner through your hair. Once you have styled with the gel do not comb till the next wash. If you wet your hair every morning you won't need to add much product, just restyle.

How to comb your hair with gel?

you put alot of gel in your palm and thenput it in your hair and comb it.oh yeah and the white stuff is the dried up gel or you are just using cheap gel

How to comb your hair with gel?

Sally Hansen Hair Removal Gel...?

Has anyone used it, and if so how well did it work? I used Nads the other night on my underarms and it didn't take all the hair. I followed the directions completely and I put the right ammount of gel on, but I still have some hair in the crease of my underarm. Does Sally Hansen"s work? How about peel apart wax strips? Any good brands I should try? Any tips? Thanx!!!

Sally Hansen Hair Removal Gel...?

it doesnt work.

dont waste ur money.

it burns, and i even left it on for 15 minuites!

its not worth it.

just shave it.

Sally Hansen Hair Removal Gel...?

Shaving is the way to go. The hair removal gels and creams are alright for women's facial hair, but to use it anywhere else is a waste of time and money.

Sally Hansen Hair Removal Gel...?

My husband used to use Nair when he was cycling a lot, mostly because it was easier for him than shaving his legs, he wasn't that great with a razor, and his leg hair was thick.

It worked really well. However, he's got super-tough skin. I don't think it would be so good for a woman. I tried it ages and ages ago, it did burn and itch. Plus it took a long time. It's faster for me to shave.

I'd be scared to use any kind of hair removal stuff on the underarm area, the skin there is really sensitive.

Wax strips and such are a huge waste of time and money. Maybe professional waxing is better, but the home-based stuff is a joke. It leaves gooey residue everywhere, the areas waxed often bruise up and bleed, and it's very painful. Sure, the hair takes a while to come back, and that's good. But is it worth all the trouble?

I don't think so.

Just think of how lovely those bruises will look with your bikini, along with the bits of towel lint stuck to the wax that wouldn't come off no matter what remover you used. I bought a kit that had the remover included--it didn't work. I used baby oil and other oils to get the sticky stuff off, they couldn't remove all of it. Scrubbed in the shower, soaped again and again, no luck. What a mess! What a huge waste of money!

And the kit says not to re-wax an area that has already been waxed...yet the wax doesn't always remove all of the hair, so what's waxed looks patchy. You have to either pluck those hairs or shave anyway.

Go to a professional for waxing if you have to do it. That way you can at least ask for your money back if everything goes horribly wrong.

Sally Hansen Hair Removal Gel...?

Don't waste ur money on those, just do it ur self.

What products make your hair dry? Gel, mousse, spray?

I know some products damage your hair, like when you colour it, when you use the drier often, the iron, etc. But what products also dry your hair? Do gel, mousse and spray damage it?

My stylist told me Gel does, but mousse doesn't. I'm confused because it was the other way around.

I really do appreciate all answers, but I'd also like an experienced opinion, someone who knows this stuff, like a hair stylist-- not that I distrust mine, but a second opinion is always good.

Thanks!

What products make your hair dry? Gel, mousse, spray?

hey chick ,i am an hairdresser and i always advise my clients not to use gel or moose as they do dry your hair.i always tell them to use a serume or a balm or a little wax these are the best things to use i have my own salon and these products are my essencial items what i use all day on my clients i use a little hairspray on my finished style. good luck x

What products make your hair dry? Gel, mousse, spray?

things with alchal as the first ingredient

Hair, balding , gel, other?

i was wondering if there is something else other than gel that will hold my hair, but wont cause heir loss?

Hair, balding , gel, other?

gel most likely wont cause hair loss...you could try hairspray?

Hair, balding , gel, other?

idk man i would stick to regular gel just to be on the safe side

Hair, balding , gel, other?

mucus

Hair, balding , gel, other?

a very very cold place

or egg

or penis juice

Hair, balding , gel, other?

I have been using shampoo to hold my hair for the last 2 years now. Im am 13 and my hair has not reacted to this. Its because its very mosturizing too. and it hold excellent.

Ok tip number 1, never put shampoo to hold in wet hair, cause of course it will fizz up and look like you are just washing your hair. Always use on dry hair and it will look exactly like gel - no kidding.

Tip number 2 - wash it out whenever you get home, never leave the shampoo overnight as it can make it very oily. You now don't have to wash your hair again.

tip number3- best to use a good quality mosturizing shampoo, something like palmolive naturals, or sunsilk. they are really good at holding. if you desire, then spray your finished style with a holding hairspray, so it wont sag if you are going to be busy and jumping all over.

*warning, hairspray does kill hair a little bit, so becareful not to overspray.

tip number 4 - you can try to use conditioner as well. it will also hold, just follow instructions and dont use on wet hair otherwise it will become slippery and not hold at all.

well i hoped I help you. And im not lying, i have been doing this for ages and its great.

and lastly tip #5 - always give your hair a break from styling (maybe saturday, sunday) other hair will be tired and fall put anyway because of prolonged products. well good luck.

Hair, balding , gel, other?

try gatsby wax...it's the best way to hold hair..and guess what, you can change your style anytime you want..unlike gel, when you applied gel, you can't change your hairstyle the whole day..

Hair, balding , gel, other?

I suggest you refer to a line called bed head. It has an assortment of pomades and styling agents that are not harsh to your hair. If you use styking products you should never sleep with them always wash them out this will cut down on breakage. I don't reccomend using anything on your hair that is not a styling agent like shampoo or conditioner. These products are strickly for what it says. These have long term issues of they are misused. Shampoo is basicly a stripper so misused will cause clow stripping of your hais natural oils. Conditioner is s softner that will eventually cause overly soft hair and breskage over time. Just shampoo your hair and rinse immed. Conditioner is not always needed every time. Depending on the look you desire for tha t day. Paul Mitchell also makes a pomade that may be to your liking.

Wet hair without gel?

Is there a product out there that keeps you hair looking wet all day and lets you shake it around.

I know if ya put gel in you hair when its wet it will keep the look but it gets frozen solid/hard. I wanna be able to move it around.

not metro/gay or anything just wondering!

Wet hair without gel?

wow just because you want to know that it doesnt make you gay it makes you seem like you care what you look like. if you have to defend your manhood then you should be worried about if your gay not if you want to know about hair products.

anyway i understand what you mean about the hair thing. dont use a gel cause thats going to cause your hair to harden and stay in one place but if you want to be able to style it and not have it like that try using a pomade that will allow you to be able to style it have it still be able to move around.

try using american crew pomade its kinda expensive but it lasts a long time.

Wet hair without gel?

Well........ garnier frutis hair scrunching stuff is the best

Whats the best hair spray/gel for wavy/nappy styles?

okay i am black and filipino...so i have wavy hair...kinda nappy...most of the time wen i wash it i jump out the shower..wipe it w/ a towel...brush the top back so its like smooth and straight on top and then i put sum gel on it...and wen it dries i have that wet look...but its actually dry!! but the gel makes it all crunchy!!

so what i have tried the john freida sprays, pantine pro-v gel, moose, and fructis gel...

but which is best?!

HELLP!!

kthx..

Whats the best hair spray/gel for wavy/nappy styles?

Redkin is the best

Do hair spiking gel make u lose hair?

do hair spiking gel make u lose hair?

Do hair spiking gel make u lose hair?

If you do it in a way that makes the hair pull when you move, it will.

Do hair spiking gel make u lose hair?

not that i know of. hair loss is caused by other reasons, not the gel. unless...your skin would have an adverse reaction to the gel. where it effects the hair folical and the underlying hair bulb. then it might. but for the use of the gel in general? i just can not see this happening.

Do hair spiking gel make u lose hair?

It does not.

Do hair spiking gel make u lose hair?

Not unless you are ripping through your hair with a brush to get it out, it shouldn't. After gel has been applied and you are ready to wash your hair, put shampoo directly on hair before getting wet. Rub in and gradually add water. This should help.

How to style thick mens hair using gel?

I have got very thick irish hair which feels like wire wool when I run my hands through it! Whenever I gel my hair I can never get the spikes to stay straight they always flop into a sort of C shape. I have to use hair clay other gels wont hold. I have got my hair thinned at the hairdresser but it hasnt solved the problem. How can I style my hair so that it looks messy but with straight spikes? Is there any product that can soften my hair aswel because I have tried most leading brand shampoos and conditioners?

How to style thick mens hair using gel?

Hi, my son has got really thick hair and for ages couldn't find anything strong enough to hold the spikes up. Tried so many products, but I found Garnier fructis, gravity defying gel, spiking. Its fantastic. Its stays spikey all day even when he's been out in a shower of rain. Amazing.

How to style thick mens hair using gel?

is it the men who are thick or their hair?

How to style thick mens hair using gel?

fructis mold and shape hun or brill cream id got with the first one though

How to style thick mens hair using gel?

The molding clay is guite good or you could try dax wax.It makes your hair realy greasy realy quick but it shud make ur hair seem not as thick.I suggest the blue dax.Oh and treseme is good for making hair soft!

How to fix my hair without gel?

my g/f likes it when i don't put gel in my hair but i can't stand it, i think it looks dumb because it poofs out and my bangs look dumb because they are in a perfect line. my hair is a little wavey and it grows in really thick. so i was wondering if there is something i could use that will make my hair not look like it has gel in it but i could also style at the same time or a certain procedure i could do to get my hair to do what i want. my hair is about medium length btw

How to fix my hair without gel?

you could also use water thats cold

How to fix my hair without gel?

with mousse

How to fix my hair without gel?

i'd say mousse

How to fix my hair without gel?

hair spray and/or hair wax

:]

How to fix my hair without gel?

I almost never use gel or spray, unless for very important occasions.I just put water in it(Not hot warm ok) and brush .

How to fix my hair without gel?

Use a light hold hairspray. It will make it look like it's naturally that way.

How to fix my hair without gel?

use pomade

it holds and it's flexible

and it won't leave your hair hard like other

hair products do. any brand will work and it comes

in a jar like this

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/21...

How to fix my hair without gel?

If you don't like gel, you'll hate wax. I think mousse might work, unless your hair is too thick. Maybe you need a slightly different cut, where the stylist thins the poofy parts so it falls more tightly. Try that!

Which is a better hair product, gel or hair spray ... ?

... for your hair. By damage, my younger brother says hair spray i say gel. I want to prove him wrong, can you post a article or anything that talks about hair damage, etc. Thanks.

*By the way I mean general gel and hair spray, not just 1 brand or so.

Which is a better hair product, gel or hair spray ... ?

Gel is by far worse on a persons head then hair spray, although neither are nessesarily "good" for you hair.

Gel has a lot of chemicals that contain drying agents. It sucks the moisture out of your hair and plugs the pores on your scalp making dandruff more apparent in gel users.

Hairspray (obviously depending on how you use it) is suppoused to be used at a misting product which doesn't cake your hair the way gel does. It's not technically good for you because is has a lot of the same chemicals but it's to be used in moderation beside gel which leaves gel as the fore runner.

Hope this helps! :)

Which is a better hair product, gel or hair spray ... ?

Neither one can damage your hair.......

I guess hairspray is worse because it damages the environment =)

I say gel?

Which is a better hair product, gel or hair spray ... ?

hi well i used to use hair spray alot and it just ended up ruining my hair, i ended up with dry hair it was always knotted and i would get really bad split ends i went to my hairdresser and she suggested i start using styling gel as its more easy to use and you can style your hair easier.

Which is a better hair product, gel or hair spray ... ?

i like hairspray cuz a lot of times the gel will flake %26amp; it will look like u have dandruff

Which is a better hair product, gel or hair spray ... ?

hairspray is more damgeing that's why i love it sooo much

jk im addiced to hairspray!

i have long, normal hair and i love to keep them untide plz suggest me some hair styling gel in india.also i use to drive bike so tell me how can i make them look sleek and combed even after a long drive without actually combing it.

Hair styling gel for girls.....?

Use a leave in conditioner like garnier sleek and shine leave in conditioner

Also you can use a melting gel like Loreal's - melting gel both work fabulous against frizz for my long hair!!

Hair styling gel for girls.....?

just tie it up neatly before you leave your house. using too much gel is not good for your hair. use PINS!! =)

Hair styling gel for girls.....?

why you want tp use gel it is very hjarmful for hair if you apply it may be your hair start falling down so my personal suggestion to you is try to avoid using it.

Hair styling gel for girls.....?

Brylcreem!

a lil dab will do ya.

Hair styling gel for girls.....?

Tie your hair up and it is better not to use gel because it makes your hair fall out and it is possible that you go half bald anyways use pins (coloured ones) that suit your hair colour.. but if you really want to use gel use Brylcreem that is probably best... I hope that helps ...

Good Luck :)

How to use brylcream(hair setting gel)?

Many of my friends suffer serious hair loss coz they used brylcream( hair setting GEL similar to the SET-WET). I think that they did not know the proper method of using it.b'coz i've seen many fellows (mainly in foreign countries) with spike hair which is not possible without GEL. i need to know how to use it properly and avoid hair loss.ie should i use it on wet hair or dry hair? please let me know. thanx.

How to use brylcream(hair setting gel)?

A little dab will do ya.

Afro hair and gel?

why is when you put gel in afro hair it starrts to break whats the best gel designed for afro hair which won't break it

Afro hair and gel?

That depends on what your using the gel for. A lot of gel has alcohol in it which can be very drying for African American hair. Dry hair leads to breakage. Also, once gel is on the hair, you shouldn't mess with the hair.

To define the curls, I recommend aloe vera gel, vitamin e gel or Fantasia IC gel with sparklites.

For slick-backed styles, I recommend Lets Jam or Fantasia IC gel with sparklites..

Hope this helps.

Afro hair and gel?

Sally Beauty Supply has an Ethnic section. Could be that you have straightened and your straightener was a bit strong.... so anything with any amount of alcohol in it will harden and break your hair.....maybe try a wax or more pliable product.....read the ingredients and stay away from the ones that state alcohol first.

Afro hair and gel?

yep .......................................

Afro hair and gel?

There is this gel called "Afro Shine" and you can get it at "Beauty Supply" that is a little store in the getto. So I hope you get this straight!!!!

Afro hair and gel?

I think that you are using gel that is made for people with straight hair, most gels that are sold in stores are not for people of color. Don't go the Sally's they do not have a good selection for African American hair. I have natural hair and I use Pro Style Gel, it's in a black container and usually has white writing on it. That gel is the best for me. They have it at Walmart, it's in the section for African American Hair, it's usually close to the You should locate the beauty/hair supply stores in your area. They have a larger selection for African American hair.

Good hair oil/gel to prevent hair loss?

Need a recommendation of using a good hair oil/gel to prevent hair loss and hair going stiff...

Good hair oil/gel to prevent hair loss?

u can use a coconut hair oil or johnson's baby hair oil. oil ur hair once a week and then shampoo off after an hour or two. gel is not that good for ur hair. if u use gel to style ur hair remember to wash it off by the end of the day.

Good hair oil/gel to prevent hair loss?

I think the best way to prevent hair loss is by using hair tonic, I used to use Garnier Neril Hair Tonic, it's really powerful..i dont know whether it's available or not in US, i used it back then in Indonesia, u'll get ur healthy hair back in no time Report It

Good hair oil/gel to prevent hair loss?

Good hair oil/gel to prevent hair loss?

Nioxin...you get in in hair salons. My husband uses this and it has done wonders. Its about 20-30 dollars a bottle, but if you have short hair, that bottle will last months.

Good hair oil/gel to prevent hair loss?

colored spray paint..ya cant go wrong..hides any bald spot..hahaa ty for the points!

Good hair oil/gel to prevent hair loss?

Don.t use oil or gel because they clog hair follicals and smother them so they can no longer produce hair try baking soda mixed wiith shampoo to exfoliate the pores and create a cleaner opening in the follical so it will not become clogged with body or hair oil its like tilling the soil.

Good hair oil/gel to prevent hair loss?

old timers' pomade would work, but if i were you, i wouldn't be using gel, coz it will accelerate ur hair loss instead of preventing it. also try rogaine, it is a hair regeneration shampoo. it's effectivity depends on user' reaction, so u might want to give it a try. My wife works at BOsley medical group, a hair transplant company, and thats a product they always suggest.

Good hair oil/gel to prevent hair loss?

Plenty of P- juice, straight from Miss Kitty. Apply this stuff on a daily basis. Whatever you do, don't spill a drop. this is liquid gold we're talkin about here.

Good hair oil/gel to prevent hair loss?

Neither oil nor gel is going to help you. You need good weekly moisturizing treatments. Purchase a really good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. I use Nexxuss or Generic Therappe. You can get it at Sally's. Drink a lot of water and eat fruit and veggies. Keep your hair clean and relatively oil free by washing it at least once/week and stop clogging your pores with oil. Silicone shining products are the best. You can also get a moisturizing cream... At One, African Pride and Motions make some good productss. If you have money to spare, should buy this guy's VitaStrand vitamins and his Moisture Healing Balm. I promise my hair is softer than ever and grows about 8-10" per year since I started using both. No lie.

Good hair oil/gel to prevent hair loss?

Vasaline. It works. Or superglue.

Good hair oil/gel to prevent hair loss?

I don't know of any good ones. Rogain only works if in a certain part of the head. They'll have a diagram on the back of the box. It looks like it's in the back of the head it'll prevent hair loss from there. I have not found anything that actually works. Now this was a couple of years ago though. Just be careful with what you buy though. There's a lot of scams out there that say they work, but don't actually do anything.

Here's a link. Hope this helps:

Good hair oil/gel to prevent hair loss?

i use Nioxin shampoo %26amp; conditioner, but i'm not sure if it makes any difference in my thinning hair. if nothing else, though, it does feel nice -- minty %26amp; tingly -- and definitely feels like a quality product.

i have a small bottle of some kind of Nioxin treatment that i haven't tried yet (it was a free sample w/the shampoo).

Good hair oil/gel to prevent hair loss?

You need a good hair dressing not an oil. Oil will make your hair really greasy and limp. You need something with natural herbs and vitamins. You use the hair dressing while messaging your scalp. This will make the blood circulate to your hair follicles which causes hair growth.

Hair spray/gel?

I'm a girl (just to let you know :P lol)

And I love to gel my hair etc. But I'm not amazing at it.

I practice at gelling my hair a lot and stuff.

I just have some questions:

Would gelling your hair instantly after washing it and whilst blow drying it help?

I've only ever tried Shockwaves products, is it a good brand?

Will I get better the more I practice?

Hair spray/gel?

Hi, I'm a hairdresser. I wouldn't gel your hair before you blow dry it sweety. You can dry it out and it may break off. Also, if there is more gel than your hair can handle, it will flake and look like you have dandruff and your hair is dirty. Shockwaves is an okay brand. You will get better the more you practice. I think you might have fun with styling foam as well. Hope this helps!

My haiir is straight and frizzy how can i curl it without a curling iron. but some gel..hair spray a

i want to do my hair and it is reall frizzy under.. but i want to juss scrunch or curl my hair for a new look .. but without a curling iron and use juss some simple..gel..hair spray and moussee?? any ideas? help please!! or without mousse? whatever juss like scrunch it curl it .. wavy it idk!

My haiir is straight and frizzy how can i curl it without a curling iron. but some gel..hair spray and mousse?

Here's what I do. When I get out of the shower, I put either gel or mousse, and I crunch it with my fingers while my hair is wet. Leave it wet for about 10 minutes or so, then hair dry while still crunching. Finish off with hairspray. Works awesome..However...It still isn't a healthy solution for your hair.

My haiir is straight and frizzy how can i curl it without a curling iron. but some gel..hair spray and mousse?

curling iron!!! u got 2 use it

My haiir is straight and frizzy how can i curl it without a curling iron. but some gel..hair spray and mousse?

use curlers and then spray with hair spray overnight then remove and use a wide fork comb to brush then spray again

My haiir is straight and frizzy how can i curl it without a curling iron. but some gel..hair spray and mousse?

sprunch it. use assuie sprunching spary. get ur hair wet and try to dry it as best as u can without useing a hair dryer and spray sprunching spray on it and sprunch it. its so easy!!!!!!

My haiir is straight and frizzy how can i curl it without a curling iron. but some gel..hair spray and mousse?

find ANYTHING you can wrap your hair around. when i was little a few times my mom would rip up newspaper and twist it, then wrap my hair around it and tie the ends of the paper together. you can also wrap it around little rags or something. just leave it in untilit dries.

My haiir is straight and frizzy how can i curl it without a curling iron. but some gel..hair spray and mousse?

Braid slightly damp hair in small sections, Let it dry and take down braids,,instant perm until you wash it out.....

My haiir is straight and frizzy how can i curl it without a curling iron. but some gel..hair spray and mousse?

Buy those pink sponge curlers and wash yer hair at night and put them up in the pink sponge curlers and sleep with them in the next morning take them out and voila you will have curly hair. IF your hair is frizzy maybe mousse it and brush it through after you wash it and before you put it up in the curlers. My mom used to do this when I was little put my hair up in sponge curlers. Trust me it works!!!!!

My haiir is straight and frizzy how can i curl it without a curling iron. but some gel..hair spray and mousse?

i would use some control gel then some mousse and schrunch then after that hair spray

good luck

My haiir is straight and frizzy how can i curl it without a curling iron. but some gel..hair spray and mousse?

whenever i scrunch my hair i put in curl shaping spray gel by garnier frutise and it makes it easier to scrunch and less frizzy.. dove moose works really good with it and theyre both cheap..

My haiir is straight and frizzy how can i curl it without a curling iron. but some gel..hair spray and mousse?

use what ever the product u like :

strong : FX gel

soft : Loreal mousse .

wet look : Oil gel .

put the product on u'r hair . and twist it over a curling rolls . it's cheap . a dozen for 2 $ .

the curlling rolls are flixable , soft and twisty .

play with it . and you'll have to do it many times to improve it .

u can use also .. lemon juise and foil sheets ..

have fun

My haiir is straight and frizzy how can i curl it without a curling iron. but some gel..hair spray and mousse?

I've done this a few times before. I get of the shower, towel dry my hair a little bit, while it's damp put a small amount of mousse in it, then french braid my hair. If you can't french braid it yourself ask.. maybe an older sister, or your mom, or if you can't do that then just do two regular braids. Then let your hair dry over night and when you wake up, take it out and scrunch it with some more mousse. It looks great, and usually stays in all day and longer =] Good luck!

My haiir is straight and frizzy how can i curl it without a curling iron. but some gel..hair spray and mousse?

The more stuff you put in it the frizzier it will get. I hate to say it but hot rollers are probably the best bet. Use a little spray gel before you roll. The longer you leave rollers in the nicer the curl. Try setting damp hair in sponge rollers before you go to bed

My haiir is straight and frizzy how can i curl it without a curling iron. but some gel..hair spray and mousse?

This is what I do....

When you take a shower before you go to bed, get a piece of cloth.Put mousse in your hair, wrap pieces of your hair around small pieces of cloth. When you wake up in the morning you will have curly hair. I know how you feel, I have really straight frizzy hair too! This worked better than a curling iron lol! Good Luck!!

I have thick *** wavy hair i wanna know how to get the straight wet look but i dont want hard gel ha

i have the thickest poofiest of wavy hair and i want to get the wet straight look like mike patton from faith no more back in 92 like in the midlife crisis video look it up on you tube to see it. and i dont want my hair hardened by gel his hair was some how mobile and straight i dont believe he has straight hair and if opra can have straight *** hair than i should be able to have what i want mang.

I have thick *** wavy hair i wanna know how to get the straight wet look but i dont want hard gel hair?

get a straightening iron, and do 1 inch blocks of hair at a time, if your hair is slightly damp when you iron it it will hold longer and will not be hard.

I have thick *** wavy hair i wanna know how to get the straight wet look but i dont want hard gel hair?

true that, but i'm assuming oprah did something with it chemically? you could probably get it chemically straightened or relaxed. OR YOU COULD ALWAYS STRAIGHTEN IT

I have thick *** wavy hair i wanna know how to get the straight wet look but i dont want hard gel hair?

get a CHI straightening iron - its fast and easy to use

i love mine

I have thick *** wavy hair i wanna know how to get the straight wet look but i dont want hard gel hair?

Use hair straightener purchased at a Beauty Supply Store

Follow that with Leave In conditioner such as Clairol Nice'n Easy Color Seal, blue tube with silver lettering(at superstore) or "Shine" in clear tube at Beauty Supply store.

What products are avialable for male styling hairs, other than gel, hair spry, moose etc?

with gel and hair spry, hairs get stiff, is their any product which keeps hairs tidy but not as stiff as gel, moose or spry do. for males

What products are avialable for male styling hairs, other than gel, hair spry, moose etc?

gotta watch out for them spry mooses... they'll getcha every time.

What products are avialable for male styling hairs, other than gel, hair spry, moose etc?

Read some useful hair styling tips and more on this site to help you with it

What products are avialable for male styling hairs, other than gel, hair spry, moose etc?

bed head has some very good products. also look for things that say "natural hold"

What products are avialable for male styling hairs, other than gel, hair spry, moose etc?

theres a product that comes in the form of a cream (a sort of conditioner look and feel to it) you finger comb it thru your hair and it perfectly shapes it and keeps it run thru soft. Go to you hairdressers to find it, If I remember rightly I think its part of the MATRIX product line. Hope it helps.

What products are avialable for male styling hairs, other than gel, hair spry, moose etc?

try using less of the product (gel, hiarspray, mousse) so that it wont work AS well letting the hair move more.

btw why does it matter if the item u use is ment for males or not?

What products are avialable for male styling hairs, other than gel, hair spry, moose etc?

You could get a serum, that would work. There's some gels and hair sprays that doesn't leave your hair stiff, it leaves it nice and soft. Their a little bit more money but their better. Maybe you could blow dry your hair before, too? That would help a lot. =] Hope that I helped. %26lt;3

What is the best cream/gel hair removal for large parts of the body?

also is there any cream/gel that will inhibit hair growth or to realy slow it down?

What is the best cream/gel hair removal for large parts of the body?

Use Nair. It works as a hair remover and growth inhibitor. I don't know if you are male or female, but my bf has me use Nair for Men on his back to keep it hair free and smooth. If you are a women, any of the Nair products work well and fast.

To keep hair away use a hair growth inhibitor lotion like Aveeno Positively Smooth Moisturizing Lotion or Jergens Naturally Smooth every day.

What is the best cream/gel hair removal for large parts of the body?

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful. Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged. A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://tinyurl.com/ob6tt

I used Manic Panic gel hair dye and cannot get it to stop bleeding. Are there any tricks?

3 weeks ago, I dyed my hair using MP gel in Hot Hot Pink. The color is amazing. It has not even begun to fade. My problem lies in the fact that I cannot see an end to my hair bleeding. I have stanied many towels, pillows, my bathtub and sink, hats, shirts and the like. Every time I wash my hair my hands and finger nails turn bright pink, even my forhead stains from the bleeding. I am forced to wash my hair with gloves in the shower. I have washed my hair with Palmolive dish soap 30 + times, and when I rinse, the suds resemble the color of Benadryl. I use several styling products, that should fade the color dramaticaIy. I followed the directions on the package, left the hair dye on for 15 minutes, did not use heat or vinegar to aid in processing. I have never used a hair dye that has made my hair bleed so much, however this is my first time using MP gel. I do not wish for the color to fade, but is there anything I can do to slow down, speed up, or stop the bleeding process?

I used Manic Panic gel hair dye and cannot get it to stop bleeding. Are there any tricks?

Washing your hair with dishwahsing liquid is gonna make it fade....also the use of hair styling products especially gel, mousse and hairspray...this is also a SEMI-PERMANENT HAIRCOLOR...so everytime ou wahs your hair you will see a lil of the color coming out anyways...actually permanent hair colors do that do.

I'm personally not a fan of Manic Panic hair color since the color aren't consistent and tend to fade too easily.

If you want it to not bleed so much, limit hair styling products and try not to wash your hair with dishwahsing liquid. Use shampoo and lukewarm water. rinse and a apply a lil conditioner then rinse with cold water. This will close the hair shaft and help hold the color better. Also never sleep on wet hair. If you sweat in your sleep you may wanna try wrapping your hair in a scarf or old t-shirt.

I suggest you get a better brand of hair dye such as Special Effects or Jerome Russel Punky Color and be sure to use the heat process and then rinse with cold water(do not shampoo)...this will ensure better longer lasting color.

I used Manic Panic gel hair dye and cannot get it to stop bleeding. Are there any tricks?

Manic Panic isn't permanent, and color that isn't permanent, usually bleeds. Even permament bleeds for about 2 days, unless you stand in the shower for 3 hours trying to rinse every bit out.Try shampooing as little as possible, and just rinse your hair with water in the shower. Manic Panic usually lasts 6-8 weeks, so everytime you shampoo, it takes a little more of the color out. Using heat won't harm your hair, in fact, it makes the color stay in longer.

Serum,gel,hair gloss,hair potions,spray,mousse!?

well i'm really confused with so many hair products.i'd like to know which is used for what?

serum,gel,hair gloss,hair potions,spray,mousse!

which one is for styling and for what kind of hair!

do we need to use a conditioner if we use serum?

i have normal hair and do not need a conditioner(my hair becomes oily if i use).i only use nyle shampoo.my hair is ok but limp in the front.what do i use to style my hair.

please help.

Serum,gel,hair gloss,hair potions,spray,mousse!?

i would always use a little conditioner just on the ends-

The world of gals

SERUM- smooths fly aways

GEL- wouldn't recommend unless you a teenage boy or taming curls

HAIR GLOSS- My favourite product- basically adds shine to your hair but use lightly as it can make hair oily the next day

( I wash every second day to keep my natural oils up)

HAIR POTIONS- not really sure what they are

MOUSSE- Is soo Eighties, there are so many products that will have the same effect with out that crunchy-ness *(spray wax)

SPRAY WAX- great for really straight hair. As you shake your hair lightly spray and it catches the ends for a funky look

Serum,gel,hair gloss,hair potions,spray,mousse!?

mouse will add volume if you use it at the scalp first -- no you dont need conditioner

Serum,gel,hair gloss,hair potions,spray,mousse!?

If you don't use conditioner because your hair gets oily, you may not even need to worry about many of these products. I would probably use a gel to style the front of your hair, if I were you. As far as the serums and glosses go, they will weigh your hair down too much. Dry or normal hair will respond better to those products. I think so many of these different products are just money makers. Also, the expensive products rarely seem to work better on my hair than the less expensive stuff. Despite what the ads say, my hair is still the same texture it was BEFORE I used their products.

Serum,gel,hair gloss,hair potions,spray,mousse!?

well hairspray and gel make ur hair hard if u want that to happen........

Serum,gel,hair gloss,hair potions,spray,mousse!?

If what you're wanting is body, try getting some Big Sexy Hair Blow Dryer Volumizing Gel and putting a bit through your wet hair before blow drying. Either blow dry with head upside down or with a round brush for volume. Afterwards, I use W8less Hair Spray. I now have lots of volume where before it was totally flat.

Serum,gel,hair gloss,hair potions,spray,mousse!?

I dont know why people go after these chemical stuffs %26amp; waste their money. Also they dont bother about the side effects as well.

What's the difference between hair GUM and hair GEL ?

what's the difference between them two

AND

are there hair gums or gels that are 'for girls only' just like some perfumes

cos i have a 'tony and guy' gum ...duno if it's for a girl or a guy like me?

What's the difference between hair GUM and hair GEL ?

A gel is more to keep your hair in place, to hold a shape that you want it to hold. And with gum you can play around with it, and shape it how you want to. And the gum you have now, smell it and see if it's more a girl or a guy smell.

What's the difference between hair GUM and hair GEL ?

Id say these things are unisex, however there are some with some 'glittery-sparkling-stuff' I dont know if u want to wear that..

well gel is gel. its light and jelly-watery or whatever u call it. it styles ur hair and gives a bit of shine, nearly 90% (form the ones I used;) flake off and are too 'hard' or dont work at all.

gum is like hair wax exc its more sticky and gives ur hair that 'wet look'. it can be good or bad. I mean the worst of the worst. so dont use too much of that.

Im more into using hair wax because it gives ur hair the hold u need + looks natural and doesnt flake off or anything.

Can anyone recommend a good alcohol free hair gel?

I found out most gels are alcohol based and can make your hair dry out %26amp; break. Is there a decent alcohol free one available in England?

Can anyone recommend a good alcohol free hair gel?

I use "Garnier Manga style" that's alcohol free but very watery, still good hold though.

Can anyone recommend a good alcohol free hair gel?

Ion...the whole line is alcohol free

Can anyone recommend a good alcohol free hair gel?

I really like Biolage Gelee, and it's very concentrated. I am not sure the availability in England though.

What's the best hair Gel for men?

What's the best hair Gel for men?

whatever it was that Cameron Diaz used in SOMETHING ABOUT MARY.. I think it was called Sperminator gel... lol.. it has a musky scent..

What's the best hair Gel for men?

I just use a gel that will keep my hair solid, after I get it into the style that I want.

What's the best hair Gel for men?

prolly american crew but got 2 be is good to i love the smell

How do I make hair gel/wax last longer?

whenever I leave the house, my hair is perfects(scruffy/messy hair), but when I come back, I find it's gone back totally flat! i've tried lots of different gels and waxes(most of them claimed to be long lasting!), but nothing seems to work!

How do I make hair gel/wax last longer?

Try Paul Mitchell or TIGI (Bead Head) products. They last me all day and I swear by them.

How do I make hair gel/wax last longer?

dont put it on when your hair is dry dampen it abit then put gel on and as your hair drys the gel will dry in to your hair! thats what my brother does seems to work!

How do I make hair gel/wax last longer?

Use Redken Rough Paste is works wonders - you put it in dry hair though- I use it at the salon all of the time, love it love it love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

How do I make hair gel/wax last longer?

I would suggest BedHead products. They seem to work wonders for everyone!!

So what's the difference between HAIR GEL and HAIR WAX?

I'm a guy with short hair, looking for a more natural look rather than the spiked, gelled hair I have now...

So, should I switch to wax?

So what's the difference between HAIR GEL and HAIR WAX?

Actually I think it all depends on what you are looking for. Some gels still offer that natural look. Gel doesn't always mean spiked, get a different level. The gels that I purchase come in numbers/strenghts 1-10. One just means you use it for a bit of control, you'd never be able to spike your hair with it, ten, of course, means ultimate spikes.

Wax, eh, I don't really suggest was either. The issue with wax is that it can cause build up in your hair. And depending on your hair texture, and color it may not look to great. It will be shiny on your hair, and if you use to much it will be thick and oily. Depening on the type of wax that you use. If you want to use wax, find one that is very light, possibly one that is clear or light yellow in color.

Stay away from pomade. It is not the same as wax...it is like wax..but no, no no! Pomade is thicker than wax, it will do a mess on your hair and you don't want that since you are wanting the natural look.

I would actually suggest a hair creame wax. It is like wax, but much lighter. It does not lead to buildup, and your hair will still have that natural look. Regular wax will weigh your hair down and using wax, trust me, you will washing your hair everyday.

So what's the difference between HAIR GEL and HAIR WAX?

Yes, wax doesn't get hard. Don't use too much, though. It will look greasy.

So what's the difference between HAIR GEL and HAIR WAX?

hair wax is more natural than hair gel. I've recently switch to hair wax because its a lot more easy to style my hair with.

About hair gel, sometimes I have the problem of the hair gel hardening and breaking off from my hair like dried glue.

So what's the difference between HAIR GEL and HAIR WAX?

gel is light and flaky wax is thick and gooky and causes build up

try moose

So what's the difference between HAIR GEL and HAIR WAX?

Hair gel is very sticky and can flake. It does hold your hair together better and will give you a better spiked/crispy look. Hair wax is on the softer side with-out the flakes. It will also hold your hair together, but not as much as the gel. The wax will give you a more natural look, but make sure that you don't use too much because then it will look greasy. I would rotate between the two so you don't get too much build up.

So what's the difference between HAIR GEL and HAIR WAX?

wax is great..a little goes a long way altho its a little greasy..better then gel.. try peter copplla hair MUD its more like a dryer wax

So what's the difference between HAIR GEL and HAIR WAX?

switching to wax may work, but don't use too much or you'll just end up loking greasy... you can also use a pomade

So what's the difference between HAIR GEL and HAIR WAX?

Use Brylcreem!

Forget about:

Hair Gel

Mousee

Hairspray

Pomade

It's all about the BRYLCREEM!

"A lil dab'll do ya!"

What is a good strong hair gel that can hold up liberty spikes or a mohawk?

detour just get it at any hair place it works like majic for any hairstyle! and it doesnt make it flaky either.

What is a good strong hair gel that can hold up liberty spikes or a mohawk?

Depends on your hair type. Bees wax works well, so does L.A. Looks Whipped Wax. Check out a beauty supply store they actually have liberty spike glue.

What is the best hair gel?

Gels for men only. I can't use pomade because it gives me a rash and I don't like hairsprays. Which one holds the best if I'm looking to give my hair a "spikey" look. I have straight hair.

Is hair gel bad for the hair and scalp?

gels are not bad for your hair, depending on which ones you use. The stronger the hold, the worse it is for your scalp, because of the alcohol content, I can tell you that American Crew gels and pomades don't have alcohol. Most professional gels don't. hope this helps.

My hair is quite damaged with from hair gel,how can i restore my hair?

also any good hair gels?

My hair is quite damaged with from hair gel,how can i restore my hair?

do not use more hair gel when ur hair is already damaged go to sallys beauty supply and ask them 4 hair restoring creame and they should have it there

My hair is quite damaged with from hair gel,how can i restore my hair?

Wash it. No.

My hair is quite damaged with from hair gel,how can i restore my hair?

if you want to repair your hair go to your nearest store and buy pantene restoratives it really works

My hair is quite damaged with from hair gel,how can i restore my hair?

You need a gel without alcohol, make sure you look at the ingredients, also do not buy hair products at a place such as Wal-Mart or Traget, go to your salon, and your hairdresser will be more than happy to help you. For your damaged hair, try a VO5 Hot Oil Treatment, do it everyday for a week, it should help a lot, and it's cheap.

My hair is quite damaged with from hair gel,how can i restore my hair?

I don't think it would come from gel...dieing and perming are the two biggest problems. A salon will be a treatment for like $25 and it works well.

My hair is quite damaged with from hair gel,how can i restore my hair?

uhh DON'T USE HAIR GELS.

i use leave in conditioners and they work the same (hold hair in place) and they are good for the hair and makes it grow (as long as you don't put it on the scalp)

if i were you i would...

wash my hair with pantene

condition it with pantene

use a DEEP CONDITIONER (they are really cheap like a pack of olive oil conditioner for a dollar, buy as many as you need according to hair length)

put a leave in conditioner on your hair, but mostly on the tips of your hair (that is the oldest part of the hair)

DON'T PUT IT ON YOUR SCALP OR YOUR HAIR WILL NOT GROW!!!

My hair is quite damaged with from hair gel,how can i restore my hair?

wash it and condition it. Leave the conditioner in for a good 10 minutes. do this every night for a week or so after that once a week and your hair should look fandabbydosie!!!

My hair is quite damaged with from hair gel,how can i restore my hair?

no straightening irons, curling irons, or blow dryers. Stay away from heat. Also use leave in conditioner for when your hair is damp you should let it air dry and try to stay away from pony tails or any kind of updo. Stay away from harsh chemicals like hairspray and hair coloring. You really need to let your hair rest goo luck!!

My hair is quite damaged with from hair gel,how can i restore my hair?

comb lotion thur your hair every other day

My hair is quite damaged with from hair gel,how can i restore my hair?

Coconut oil can help restore your hair . www.carolsdaughter.com has a great line of prducts that you may also find helpful

also try to keep the stress off of it for a few months, give it time to get stronger..i would suggest a simple wrap, where you dont have to apply heat to it as often..or get a weave..i know the braiding part, you may thing that is adding stress but if you keep it conditioned it will grow so much during that time... And with the waeve you can still wear it in multiple styles. Just make sure you get it done right, preferable by a professional, they usually last two to three months, depending on how you take care of it.

My hair is quite damaged with from hair gel,how can i restore my hair?

Use lots of deep conditioning, there is one from loreal for damage hair, its really good. Also you can use hot oils, vials from keratex, it will restore your hair, you'll see the change.

try it!

My hair is quite damaged with from hair gel,how can i restore my hair?

the gel didnt damaged ur hair the combing of ur hair with gel in it neways try fermodyll or pantene for relaxed hair

My hair is quite damaged with from hair gel,how can i restore my hair?

I am a 56 year old lady with blonde (not my TRUE color) long hair... I get compliments on how beautiful it looks ALL THE TIME---trust me it's the only beautiful thing ON me---but...I have NEVER and I mean NEVER used gels, hair spray, or moose on my hair and REFUSED to let hair stylists use it on my hair either EVER.... I use Pantene shampoo and ANY Pantene conditioners (I've tried them all).... I leave conditioner on my hair for 1/2 hour to an HOUR and then rince it REALLY thoroughly...I never back comb (tease) my hair and I NEVER pull on it while brushing it. The pantene restoratives mentioned by another in here DOES work extremely well but because you have damaged hair, I would leave it in your hair for at LEAST an hour each time.... Pantene is expensive but if you want to have nice healthy looking hair, you gotta spend the money.... I would also recommend NO Bleaching or dying of your hair for at LEAST a YEAR to let it recover from your damage.

What is better hair gel, mousse, hair polish or leave on conditioners?

are there gels and mousse that feels soft to the touch and not sticky? how about those hair polish that appear too shiny? help please!!! no specific amount limitations...

What is better hair gel, mousse, hair polish or leave on conditioners?

Just experiment around. It depends on your hair type. If you do use a gloss, though, focus on your ends if it's one of the ones you put on dry, because if you put it on at the roots too much it will make your hair look greasy.

What is better hair gel, mousse, hair polish or leave on conditioners?

I like hair gel (fructis)

What is better hair gel, mousse, hair polish or leave on conditioners?

I prefer Leave On Conditioners, myself.

What is better hair gel, mousse, hair polish or leave on conditioners?

garnier fructis leave in conditioner

What is better hair gel, mousse, hair polish or leave on conditioners?

I bleached my hair a few months ago, and it was FRIED! I used Redken Extreme Anti-Snap leave in conditioner (it restores the proteins in your hair to make it stretch when you brush it instead of break) and my hair has never been shinier, softer, or more beautiful!

What is better hair gel, mousse, hair polish or leave on conditioners?

http://www.tresemme.com/products/show_pr...

Tresemme No frizz shine spray. After I spray on my leavein conditioner (Paul Mitchell) and mousse (Garnier Fruitice)- I use the shine spray. That is what makes my hair so soft. If I had to only keep one product, this would be it- HANDS DOWN!!!

What is better hair gel, mousse, hair polish or leave on conditioners?

Hello, I can only speak for myself . You will need to try them to truly know how it will affect your hair and if you like it or not. Personaly ive found mousse to be softer on the hair, to the touch and not as sticky. Too shiny ?? How could your hair be too shiny, shiny hair is a youthful healthy look on anyone in my opinion. :)

What is a good hair gel for guys with thinner hair?

I usually spike my hair but it can be difficult because my hair is a bit curly and thinner. I have found that more liquidy gels just clump my hair together and make it look thinner.

What is a good hair gel for guys with thinner hair?

There is a men's brand called American Crew. They have multiple products that will not clump and they have a line especially for thinning hair that would work great for you plus they smell really good (like men's Cologne). The gel is on the thicker side and a little goes a long way also the pomade is like a cream or paste that will not make your hair stiff and hard, but make sure that you don't use too much or it will make your hair look really greasy. Hope this helps and good luck

What is a good hair gel for guys with thinner hair?

My husband swears by Pureology Texture Twist. It's funny because the product, Pureology, was originally designed for color treated hair. It doesn't weight the hair down, and it isn't overly greasy like other products. It styles well, and last all day. The product is a bit pricey, but we have been able to find it cheaper on Ebay. My husband's hair cut sounds very similar to yours, so this could work for you too.

What is a good hair gel for guys with thinner hair?

use a texturizing or thickening paste. American Crew (a men's line) or D:Fi (a subdivision of AC) has some great products.

Hair gel what one??

my hair is shortish, i want to spike it but some of the gels i use go fluffy and flaky by the end of the day, any suggestions?

Hair gel what one??

Well I suggest American Crew forming cream. It's not gel but it's better. It holds really good and gives your hair a great look. American Crew has gel too, all their products are good.

Hair gel what one??

try loreal studio, they make a good gel.

Hair gel what one??

I go with LA STYLES; firm hold.

Moose works better - but IF you touch it, it flakes.

Someone I know used salt-water, but I've never tried it myself.

I avoid gel most of the time, I cut my hair short, use a ball-cap for about half an hour, and my own sweat gives me hat hair - it allows my blonde highlights to stay visible.

Hair Too thick hair gel wont work!?!!?

right this is my problem, for a few years now i have tried many different hair gels, hardly any of them work wax used to hold it for a bit but even that does not work can you reccomend anything? i want for once to spike up my hair without it falling flat after 5 minutes please suggest a hairgel/glue/wax that acyually works.... by the way i live in the uk so i might not be able to get the hair gels/glue some Americans on the site use

Hair Too thick hair gel wont work!?!!?

One of my friends uses Trevor Sorbie mg moulding mud and he swears by it, you can buy it from salons or boots.

It's worth a try

Hair Too thick hair gel wont work!?!!?

Please recommend a hair gel! (for my specific situation)?

I have shortish very fine wavy hair. I wash and wear my hair back off my forehead but the gels and mousses so far leave it REALLY DULL. I mean it goes from blond/ash/blond to really really dull dark!! YUCK. I tried a bit of hairspray and that was okay but it is so sticky. My hair basically is cut in a simple wash-n-wear, unstructured wavy bob. What can I use? A little dab after shampooing, push back and go? Please tell me of a product YOU USE that is not dulling and not super sticky! HELP!!! When I use nothing my hair is shiny and pretty but gets in my face and does a bit of fly away too. I NEED THIS FOR WORK PLEASE to get the hair out of my face but not looking like crap. Please name product specifically so I can go buy it. :-)

Oily free hair gel? Acne...?

Hi, recently I had heard that hair gels is a irratant to acne... especially along the hairline. Unfortunatelly, I can't choose what is more important... my hair.. or my face... so I was wondering if anyone knew of any hair gels that don't have oil in them that will make the acne worse.

Oily free hair gel? Acne...?

I have been using hair gel for like 3 years! and i have NO acne at all. I don't think you can get acne from hair gel, unless you are using it on your face, maybe you should try a salon.

Oily free hair gel? Acne...?

Buy oils and shampoos for oily hair...it will have less oils in them

Good luck

Oily free hair gel? Acne...?

good question. i don't know of any hair gels that don't have any oil, but keep looking maybe you'll find something.

Oily free hair gel? Acne...?

Oily free hair gel? Acne...?

Don't know about hair jel creating an acne problem. I have oily skin. I have a habbit of rubbing my forhead with my had and the dirty and oil causes problems. For your hair, start using moose. It'll work just as good I'm sure.

Hair gel Problems?

i try to spike my hair but it only stays wet spikish for 5 mins max. and then it dries up and looses the spikeyness. I have a wet look pomade, and super hold for spiking(alberto gels). Other ppl with gelled hair look normal for the rest of the day.

Hair gel Problems?

get a stronger gel

Hair gel Problems?

gel your hair when it's wet and use one of those huge vats of hair gel you get at the 99 cent store lol, they really work!

Hair gel Problems?

get paul mitchells brand LAB glue. it stays very well. or got2b glued its in a yellow tube. its awesome and cheaper than LAB

Hair gel Problems?

Try spraying your hair with some max hold hairspray after you put gel on it and spike it. Then use your hairdryer on low for a few secs and see if that works. The heat will help set it.

Hair gel/oil and pimples?

Hi,

I get pimples whenever I start applying oil or any gel on my hairs.Because of this , all these years I avoided applying anything on my hairs. But the problem is that , I dont like my hairs without oil/gel coz they look very dull. Applying a gel helps it but I get pimples then. Is there any product availabe in the market which is oil free and hold the hairs too.

Thanks

Hair gel/oil and pimples?

Hey,im not sure about the product situation but you can still use the product that your using right know but at night just wash your face. Or try to get an all natrul product to use.

Hair gel/oil and pimples?

Yeah, what she said, and try to keep your hair off your face.

I need to make a model of an animal cell. I have heard of models that use clear hair gel. Any ideas?

I thought about using a clear christmas ornament, (the kind that you can take apart and put something inside) but I don't know if I could put hair gel inside without it leaking. Also, I don't know what to make the other cell parts out of that would be small enough to fit inside the ornament. Any ideas? I want to use the ornament so that I can hang it from an ornament hanger for displaying. I don't want to use food items because I want it to last a long time. All answers welcome.

I need to make a model of an animal cell. I have heard of models that use clear hair gel. Any ideas?

clear burn aloe gel works well, and isn't as sticky for the cytoplasm. I used a clearish bouncy ball with a color in the middle for the nucleus and nucleolus. um, i used yarn for the rough endoplasmic reticulum. those are just some pf the parts

I need to make a model of an animal cell. I have heard of models that use clear hair gel. Any ideas?

Does anyone know any stores where i can buy clear ice, the hair gel?

I know exactly what that is, I use the brown protein stuff and they are usually right next to each other because they are the same thing except for the fact that one is clear for light colored hair...you should be able to get it where ever ethnic hair care products are sold.

I'm telling you every store does not sell that stuff you may find LA Looks but you will not find Clear Ice...

They're colloids. Essentially, they are substances that are stuck in a state between being liquids and solids.

Can anyone tell me how to twist for african american hair. I have seen some people use hair gel like

Ampro gel in the black jar. I have been looking it up and see other people using locing products. His hair is short so i wanted to know how to twist them more so than "loc" them.

Can anyone tell me how to twist for african american hair. I have seen some people use hair gel like the?

I wouldn't suggest that hard brown gel because it can dry the hair out. The gel that I would suggest is aloe vera gel the kind in the plastic bottle. Most people use it for sun burned skin but it is also great for the hair. As for the twisting I suggest go to youtube.com and look around in there. This site has so many people on there that has had natural hair for years and there are so many instructional videos on there to tell you how to create natural hair styles. Hopes this helps. Peace.

One Luv,

Naturalosity

Recommend a good hair gel that does *not* cause dandruff?

I know it's not actually dandruff, but the hair gel I have causes little white flakes that look exactly like dandruff and it's quite disgusting.

Can anyone recommend some good hair gel that doesn't do that? I'm a guy, btw.

Recommend a good hair gel that does *not* cause dandruff?

Hair wax works really well you should try it

Recommend a good hair gel that does *not* cause dandruff?

Whats a good hair gel that leaves no random hair up and doesnt flake white?

whats a good hair gel that leaves no random hair frizzies up and doesnt flake white? for curly auburn midlength biracial (black white) hair thats 99% of the time pulled back in a tail.

Whats a good hair gel that leaves no random hair up and doesnt flake white?

Try Garnier Fructis. They have several types of hair gel, spray, and mousse. I have them all and absolutely LOVE them. Give them a try because they aren't expensive and they sell them everywhere!

Whats a good hair gel that leaves no random hair up and doesnt flake white?

I wear my hair the same way and I use Thick 'n Shine Styling Gel by IC it is specially formulated to thicken and strengthen weak, damaged hair (my hair it a bit thin around the edges from wearing it pulled back all the time). It infuses each hair strand, increasing weight and diameter, enhancing thickness and shine from within. It is also anti-thinning.

Whats a good hair gel that leaves no random hair up and doesnt flake white?

Just Jam is the best to me because it doesn't leave white flakes and stuff on you but African Essence works good also

Whats a good hair gel that leaves no random hair up and doesnt flake white?

Give TIGI "Manipulator" a shot....I've heard really great things about it and have had several friends that swear by it to do the job you are pretty much looking for. I haven't personally tried it, but maybe take a look at it! Good luck

Whats a good hair gel that leaves no random hair up and doesnt flake white?

I used to use Let's Jam gel. It's soft, non-flaky, and holds the hair when doing a ponytail or up-do. You don't have that hard feeling as opposed to the other styling gels. Plus they have different varieties to choose from: regular, super, gels for fine to normal hair, course hair....etc. I used it alot when I had long hair to put my hair in a ponytail and when I did pontail extensions for my family and friends.

Whats a good hair gel that leaves no random hair up and doesnt flake white?

lets jam..or just jame... but i think its called lets jam, or garnier fruitise styles gel....goooood shyt

Hair Gel! PLEASE HELP!?

Can anybody tell me what is the best hair gel for guys and were can i get it. Ive been told american crew but i don't know if thats right.

Hair Gel! PLEASE HELP!?

Crew is good, but it's pretty expensive.

I like Got2B Playful Creme Pomeade. I don't know if it's specifically for men, but I like it. It's a white cream in a round container. It's not an actual gel, so you don't end up with that wet, greaseball look.

Hair Gel! PLEASE HELP!?

L'oreal have fabulous ranges of hair gels. And Garnier as well. They should be easy to get from any superstores.

Hair Gel! PLEASE HELP!?

If you want hair to stay in place but not look yucky. At fantastic sam they sell a gell in a blue bottle. Don't remember what it's called but with the size of a nickle it can do what a whole bottle of another brand does.

Hair Gel! PLEASE HELP!?

My brother uses American Crew and it works well with his hair.

Is the hair gel Spiker really a glue? Is it good/bad for your hairs?

I've heard from lot of people that Spiker - the hair gel is not good for your hairs, because its a glue.

Hair gel and hair loss?

Does using hair gel once a day cause it to fall out? No I'm not going bald but my friend said if I use it I'll lose my hair. wtf?

Hair gel and hair loss?

It will not do any damage to your hair as long as you make sure you clean it out every evening and also keep your hair nice and clean and use good shampoo etc and cond' !

Hair gel and hair loss?

i really dont know but if you wanna know what i think no

Hair gel and hair loss?

tell your friend to stop being jealous that he dosent have hair!

Hair gel and hair loss?

I don't think so, make sure you wash it before you sleep tho.

Hair gel and hair loss?

Maybe it's a question of follicles' sensitivity, cuz there are men proner to go bald by using stylin products than the others. Perhaps your friend is one of them and probably he'll never have his hair back, though he wouldnt use gel anymore. I mean it: it's a matter of follicles' sensitivity, haven't you seen boys who burst out gel on his hair and never have this kind of problems? Don't worry, you shoulda know your body by now and so you can come to conclusions.

Hair gel and hair loss?

Hi no it doesn't at all as long as you wash your hair in the evening so all the gel is removed don't listen to your mate he doesn't know what he's talking about.

Hair Gel / Hair Wax?

What is the difference between hair gel and hair wax?

Hair Gel / Hair Wax?

Hair Gel is used to keep hair in place. Like Hair spray.

Hair wax is suposed to do the same thing to a certain extent but mostly just to add shine to the hair.

Also i was told that Hair Gel has to be washed off within 24hrs but Hair wax can be kept on for a day or two.

Hair Gel / Hair Wax?

Gel sets hard, wax doesn't, its stickier.

Hair gel positive or negtaive on hair growth?

Does hair gel damage hair or stop it from growing in any way?

Hair gel positive or negtaive on hair growth?

Hair gel does NOT impact the growth of your hair. Nutrition, health, pregnancy, genetics...they are what determines the pace of how fast your hair is going to grow. nothing topical, except Minoxidil, which is a prescription medication for hair regrowth for a certain type of hair loss will effect you hair growth. So go ahead - use that gel, hair spray, hair glue, etc...have fun!! Your not gonna lose your hair over it :)

Hair gel positive or negtaive on hair growth?

I wouldn't say so.

How long can I leave hair gel in my hair? I can only wash my damaged hair every 3 days?

My hair is damaged, so I can only wash it every 3 or 4 days. I have short, broken hairs that I want to hold down with gel until they grow in. Are there any problems with keeping gel or mousse in my hair for 3 or 4 days until I wash it again?

Also, what products gels, mousse, etc, do you guys recommend for these small broken hairs?

How long can I leave hair gel in my hair? I can only wash my damaged hair every 3 days?

Just because your hair is damaged dosen't mean you can't wash it. If a professional told you not to, than don't. But I suggest that you wash it at least every other day. If you are worried about it getting even more damaged use a good moisturzing/repairing shampoo and conditioner like Dove Advanced Care Therapy. Together (shampoo and conditioner) there is only one alcohol in it.

It is ok to keep gel or mousse in your hair for 3-4 days, but you should probably but a little bit in between, like the second or third day. You should probably also use a good clarifying shampoo once every 10 days to remove build up.

How long can I leave hair gel in my hair? I can only wash my damaged hair every 3 days?

the gel can be damaging it, stop using it and get a good conditioner. There are holding creams that are less damaging than the gel, I know of one by Sunsilk. Its non-greasy and non-sticky

How long can I leave hair gel in my hair? I can only wash my damaged hair every 3 days?

it is ok to leave it in, just make sure any products you use are alcohol free , or it will just dry and damage your hair further. I also have naturally dry hair, about every ten days or so I do a hot oil treatment which I leave in over night and that really makes a difference.

Can hair gel and hairstyling products make you go bald?

ive asked many people and they said no, usually only if you have a history of baldness in your family. i dont but i am noticing my hair thinning i use tonnes of gel in the morning and i can see my hair real thin

Can hair gel and hairstyling products make you go bald?

I've heard it's not good because it can irritate or clog the follicles. Better just to get a good, easy-to-manage haircut than to put all those sticky chemicals onto your head each day.

Can hair gel and hairstyling products make you go bald?

I say no as well.

Can hair gel and hairstyling products make you go bald?

It could if you don't wash it off your hair well enough. It'll soak into your scalp and shrink your roots, which shrinks your hair thickness.
