Hair gel or spay to protect against humidity?

So, i live in fl %26amp; obviously we have high humidity, %26amp; lovely rain, but, i cant keep my straightened hair to stay staight. I don't really like using serums because they make my hair oily even when i dont use a lot, %26amp; already I have soft hair, so for some reason its more prone to getting curly or poofy when it's relaxed. I was thinking i would need a gel or hairspray that wont turn to mush in our weather, but i've yet to find one that'll work. any suggestions? please %26amp; thanks :]

well i would say u can use hair spray but the chances of it stayin are slim!

so go with gell. dont buy those cheepiese if u can buy tressame mousse! that works for me and it keeps your hair packed enough to keep it down and lookin good!

I have the same problem. I use Treseme Curl definer. It works really well and so does Pantene pro-V smooth and sleek leave in treatment. Whichever you want to use works well...

actually, something that works really well for me is if you spray a hairbrush with some static guard, brush your hair, then spray your hair with hairspray : )
