i just rinsed my hair, without conditioner, shampoo, or anything. is it okay to use hair gel with that? my hair is still a tad oily.

Gel is naturally drying cause it contains alcohol (unless you bought gel w/o) so It should cancel it out.

Well..are you trying to get rid of the oil? There's no rule on not washing your hair and then using product..but I wouldn't..you probably have a lot of build up so I would wash it really good..use clarifying to get rid of the impurities and build up..
